'A Chance Encounter' - Award Winning Painting 2009

Jacqueline discovered her love for art at a very early age and continued it to GCSE 'O' and 'A' Level, then took a Foundation Course at Shelley Park, Boscombe.

After a long break with work and family commitments her husband encouraged her to pick up her paintbrush again. Now she enjoys a variety of mediums including: watercolour, acrylics, pen and ink, charcoal and mixed media. Her paintings are continually inspired by wildlife, nature and the surrounding diverse landscape and Jurassic coastline.

She exhibits in her home town of Wimborne, Dorset and recently joined Marwell International Wildlife Art Society with whom she will be exhibiting annually. She is also a member of Ringwood and Broadstone Art Societies. Through her paintings of wildlife, she hopes to raise awareness of wildlife conservation by trying to capture each animal's vulnerability in this world we live in today.

Her painting 'A Chance Encounter' was awarded 'Highly Commended' in the Amateur 'Wildlife Artist Of the Year 2009' run by Wildscape Magazine.

Her work is in many private collections in Dorset, Hampshire,Devon and further afield- USA,New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

She reproduces her work into fine art digital prints using pigmented inks on archival paper in three sizes to fit 'ready made frames': 14 x 11 inches, 18 x 14 inches and 20 x 16 inches.
